DESCRIPTION :

One of ECHEM's Master Plan Projects with the aim of building the first Methanol Plant in Egypt with a capacity of 1.3 million ton per year. The facility which is expected to start production in 2009, is located  at Damietta on the Mediterranean Sea in Egypt on an area of 700,000 square meters.

The EPC contract was awarded to the Italian Company TECHINT who awarded PETROJET the whole of the construction works in the project.
