Khafji Field Development – Phase I Offshore (FDP1)

 

Client: Khafji Joint Operations (KJO), a 50:50 joint venture between Kuwait Gulf Oil Company (KGOC) and Saudi Arabia's Aramco Gulf Operations (AGOC).

Location: Khafji Area (Neutral Zone between K.S.A. & Kuwait)

 

 

Description:   

 

The third offshore contract EPC Contract to expand production facilities in the Divided Zone was awarded in August 2006 to the consortium of PETROJET, ENPPI, PMS & Rawabi.

 

The scope of works on the $722 million engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning (EPCIC) contract covers the fabrication and installation of 6 Offshore Platforms with a total weight of 17,000 Tons in addition to modifications to 5 existing platforms, new sub-sea P/L’s - total length 110 km sizes 28” / 36” / 42” and laying of 32 km subsea cables.

-         Modifications to Existing Structures at Khafji
