Client: Khafji
Joint Operations (KJO), a 50:50 joint venture between Kuwait Gulf Oil
Company (KGOC) and Saudi Arabia's Aramco Gulf Operations (AGOC).
Description:
The third offshore contract EPC Contract to expand production facilities in the Divided Zone was awarded in August 2006 to the consortium of PETROJET, ENPPI, PMS & Rawabi. The scope of works on the $722 million engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning (EPCIC) contract covers the fabrication and installation of 6 Offshore Platforms with a total weight of 17,000 Tons in addition to modifications to 5 existing platforms, new sub-sea P/L’s - total length 110 km sizes 28” / 36” / 42” and laying of 32 km subsea cables.
PETROJET Scope of Work: All Fabrication Works:
- 2 Complete Platforms (7,189 Tons) - 2 Power Distribution Platforms (5,583 Tons)
- Integrated Well Jacket (2,049 Tons) - 8 Tripods - 4 Flares - 8 Bridge Supports - 2 Interconnecting Bridges - Modifications to Existing Structures at Khafji
