Yemen LNG Project  (Primary Tanks ST1)

LOCATION: Belhaf - Yemen

 

DESCRIPTION

A huge Investment Porject aiming at building Yemen's first LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) plant.

This new plant will be located at Balhaf on the southern coast of Yemen, approximately 140 km west of the port city of Al Mukalla and 380 km east of Aden.

The facility will consist of two LNG trains using the APCI C3/MCR process and will be capable of delivering a total of 6.7 million tons per annum of LNG.

The project is being executed by the YEMGAS Joint Venture formed by  The target for Train 1 start-up is end of 2008, with Train 2 coming on line approximately 5 months later.

        PETROJET Scope of Work:

Subcontractor for Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication & Erection of the Primary Tanks in the project comprising 12 Cylindrical Tanks (415 Tons) & 1 Spherical Tank (190.8 Tons) in addition to TSF Infrastructure.

 Duration : 23 month
