Petrojet signs contract for Mazut Hydrocracking complex


Assiut National Oil Processing Co. (ANOPC), has signed a contract to a consortium of TechnipFMC PLC for construction, Petrojet, and ENPPI of ANOPC’s hydrogen cracking complex in Assiut, Egypt. The project at Assuit governorate aims to get gas oil prodution capacity reach 2.8 million tons per year. In addition, the project will also produce Naphta- used in high octane gasoline- of 400 000 tons per year, LPG with a capacity of 100000 tons per year, coal with capacity of 300000 tons per year and sulfur with a capacity of 66000 per year The complex is a part of the Ministry of Petroleum’s strategy to secure local demand for petroleum products.
