A two – train Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) plant each with a capacity of approximately 3.6 MT/Y on approximately 165 hectares of land located 3 km from the town of Idku and 40 km East of Alexandria on the Egyptian Mediterranean coast. Technology utilized is the Phillips Optimized Cascade liquefaction technology. The Facility includes 2 Cryogenic Tanks each with a capacity of 140,000 m3, Common Facilities (including Power Generation, Fire Water Systems and Control Building) and Marine Facilities.

ETHYDCO
The Egyptian Ethylene and Derivatives Company (ETHYDCO) awarded a consortium of Petrojet and Saipem a contract for the first polybutadiene plant in Egypt . The plant will include one production train of Low Cis Butadiene Rubber and related facilities and is expected to have a production capacity of 36,000 tons per year. Both Petrojet and Saipem will be responsible for engineering , procurement, construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning to successful start-up.
